I’m an MBSE Engineer based in Madrid, Spain, helping organisations across Europe design complex space, aerospace and maritime systems.
Using my expertise in system engineering, concurrent design and MBSE, I help organisations transform complex requirements into structured models that support better engineering decisions throughout the system life cycle.
What have you learned in your role?
Over the years, I’ve learned that successful system engineering is as much about people as it is about technology.
One of the most valuable skills I’ve developed is bringing together multidisciplinary teams from different countries, cultures and technical backgrounds to build a shared understanding of complex systems.
What are you most proud of in your job?
One of the moments I’m most proud of was seeing diverse engineering teams embrace a common system engineering and MBSE [model-based system engineering] approach, transforming the way they collaborated.
Watching experts from different disciplines and cultural backgrounds build trust, communicate more effectively, and work together towards a shared solution reminded me that engineering is ultimately about people.
Whether supporting international projects or delivering training, it’s incredibly rewarding to see participants leave with not only new technical skills, but also a greater appreciation for collaboration, systems thinking and the value of working as one team.
What’s a common misconception about your job?
A misconception about my job is that MBSE is just about modelling. In reality, it’s about applying system engineering principles to improve collaboration, reduce risk and make better design decisions.
What problem do you most love solving?
The problem I love solving most is helping multidisciplinary teams tackle complex engineering challenges by turning ideas, requirements and interfaces into clear, connected system models.
