With its theme of “Secure communications and other dual technologies”, the 7th edition of the Small Satellites & Services International Forum (SSSIF 2026) will be an international meeting of designers, engineers, scientists, developers, suppliers and launchers in the small satellites sector. SSSIF offers an opportunity to explore the latest technological advances, share knowledge and connect with leading voices in the industry.
Alongside an exhibition and workshops, the Forum includes keynotes, presentations and panel sessions across two halls. Three of Starion’s experts will be giving presentations in the Mena Hall during the event:
Tuesday 17 February
- 11:00 – In the session on ‘Market and future vision of small satellite platforms’, Paloma Maestro Redondo, System Engineer and Project Manager, is speaking on ‘From Documents to Models: Overcoming Challenges in MBSE Adoption for Space Missions’.
- 14:00 – In the session on Key technologies for the future of small satellite missions’, Sara de la Fuente, Work Area and Project Manager, is presenting ‘Satellites Services & AI for Emergency Management – SAFEPLACE Live Demo, S+EM Valencia’.
Wednesday 18 February
- 11:30 – In the session on ‘Telecommunication and ground segment solutions for small satellite platforms’, Juan Jose Garrido, INT-UQKD Project Manager, is presenting ‘Real World Quantum Safe Secure Communications: what we have learned from our global space and terrestrial network’, including an update on the International Use Cases for Operational Quantum Key Distribution Applications and Services project (INT-UQKD), led by Starion.
