MBSE 2025 is a multi-day event that will bring together experts, practitioners and enthusiasts for immersive training and collaborative work on model-based system engineering (MBSE) with a specific focus on the space domain.
Organised by Space Hub LT at Innovation Agency Lithuania and the European Space Agency (ESA), in cooperation with the Model Based for System Engineering Advisory Group and Sensmetry, the event’s objective is to accelerate the adoption and use of MBSE in the space domain.
Starion’s MBSE and concurrent design experts will be taking part in the event.
Wednesday 5 November:
- 14:30-15:30 in the Gamma Hall – Anh Toan Bui Long, Concurrent Design and MBSE Expert, will be part of team leading a training session on ‘Introduction to the ESA MBSE Methodology‘ along with representatives from ESA
- 14:30-15:30 in the ETA Hall – Paloma Maestro Redondo, System Engineer and Project Manager, will be a speaker on ‘Unlocking Interoperability‘, a session discussing MBSE interoperability as supported by the Space System Ontology and various tools, including practical use cases, guidelines and lessons learnt.
Thursday 6 November:
- 14:00-16:00 in the Gamma Hall – Paloma Maestro Redondo will be one of two speakers running consecutive 30-minute sessions on ‘Federated Data Exchange for MBSE and Digital Continuity’ as part of a 2-hour technical workshop within the World Cafe Interactive Session. The session will include two short live demos and a 15-minute hands-on sprint.
Friday 7 November:
- 09:00-10:30 in the ETA Hall – Paloma Maestro Redondo will run ‘CDP4-COMET 101‘, teaching participants how to use the Starion platform in a hands-on session suitable for both non-expert and advanced users. The knowledge and experience gained with this exercise can be applied to other MBSE tools and methods.
