The 2025 edition of the Artificial Intelligence Symposium on Theory, Application, and Research (AI STAR) will take place onsite at the European Space Agency’s European Space Operations Centre (ESA ESOC) in Darmstadt, Germany, and will also be broadcast online from Wednesday to Friday 3-5 December 2025.
Starion is sponsoring AI STAR, which brings together leading voices from industry, academia, policy and research to explore the transformative potential of AI in the space sector and beyond. This year, the event has expanded to a 3-day format, with themes including:
- AI to enhance operations and engineering applications
- AI for engineering advanced systems
- AI GenForge: AI-accelerated smart manufacturing, generative design, ICME and industrialisation.
- Safe and responsible AI.
On Thursday 4 December at 11:55 CET, Starion’s Pablo Beltrami, Programme Manager and Ground Segment Competence Lead, will take part in a panel session on ‘Operationalising Trust: Securing the AI Lifecycle in Critical Space Systems’.
