The 35th annual conference on Astronomical Data Analysis Software and Systems (ADASS), hosted by the German Center for Astrophysics DZA, will provide a forum for scientists and programmers working in areas related to algorithms, software and software systems for the acquisition, reduction, analysis and dissemination of astronomical and planetary science data.
The programme consists of invited talks, oral and poster papers, tutorials, user group meetings and special interest group meetings. These activities aim to stimulate further development of software and systems to meet the data science challenges of astronomy.
Starion’s experts will be presenting at the event:
- 11:00-12:00 on Monday 10 November – Pablo Pérez Gil, ESDC Software Engineer, will speak on ‘Euclid Science Archive technical evolution to the Petabyte scale’
- 16:30-16:45 on Wednesday 12 November – Fernando Villa Blasco, Space Data Archive Software Engineer, will speak on ‘Integral Science Legacy Archive: Official Release and Modular Innovation for ESA Science Archives’
In addition, Starion’s Maria Arevalo Sanchez, ESDC Software Engineer, will present a poster on ‘A multi-mission strategy for long-term data preservation at the ESAC Science Data Centre’.

ADASS XXXV will be followed by the International Virtual Observatory Alliance (IVOA) November (‘Southern Spring’) 2025 Interoperability meeting, organised by the German Astrophysical Virtual Observatory, Heidelberg University and Deutsches Zentrum für Astrophysik (DZA). At this event, Starion’s Jose Osinde Lopez, Senior Software Engineer, will give a talk on ‘TAP stateless follow up’.
