We are looking for a MS Dynamics Application Lifetime Coordinator to work at ESA’s premises either in ECSAT (Harwell), ESRIN (Frascati), or ESTEC (Noordwijk).
This person should have expertise in identifying, describing & promoting solutions in the field of Microsoft Dynamics CRM & Power Platform technologies. The candidate should leverage this expertise throughout the project lifecycle and support a wider team in architecting, configuring, and implementing technical solutions as and when required. They should possess end-to-end configuring/programming/developing using both out of the box & 3rd party tools ensuring a bullet proof solution.

The European Space Agency (ESA) is an intergovernmental organisation committed to studying space and increasing global awareness on current space exploration and related scientific research.
ESA is responsible for outlining and implementing the current European space programme and ensuring its successful execution. Current programmes aim to develop new and existing satellite-based technologies, further our understanding of space whilst also using this information to study Earth and the current climate.
Tasks and activities
The scope of work will include:
- Collaborating with consultants and business analysts to understand client requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Designing, developing, and customizing Dynamics modules to meet any kind of business needs.
- Creating client-side scripts, plugins, and integrations to extend Dynamics functionality and focus on delivering great UI/UX in mind.
- Recognizing opportunities to streamline processes, enhance performance, and innovate within the Dynamics development landscape.
- Designing and implementing data integration solutions between Dynamics and other systems using industry-standard tools.
- Utilizing Dynamics 365’s analytics capabilities to gain valuable insights into customer behaviour and trends. This includes utilising Power BI for data visualisation and analysis for various purposes of strengthening Dynamics CRM platform.
- Conducting thorough unit testing and participating in integration testing to ensure the functionality and performance of developed components.
- Working closely with stakeholders and users to gather requirements and provide business analysis.
- Being part of Dynamics CRM and Power Platform Competency Centre and helping nurture the standards, best practices & governance.
Skills and experience
The following skills and experience are mandatory:
- University Degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or a relevant field.
- At least 5 years proven experience in implementing solutions.
- Hands-on experience both in Dynamics CRM and Power Platform (Mainly Power Automate & Power BI).
- Strong experience with customizing and configuring Dynamics 365 & Power Platform environments.
- End-to-end Knowledge of the Azure Service eco-system involving Microsoft Dynamics platform architecture and its components with other operational platforms.
- Experience designing and implementing workflows, business rules, and processes within Dynamics CRM.
- A background in developing and deploying custom solutions using Dynamics 365.
- Good knowledge of the Digital ecosystem from Microsoft (Dynamics, SharePoint, Power Platform etc.).
- Experience with other Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Pages) to extend Dynamics 365 capabilities is a plus.
- Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team, in an international multicultural environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solution oriented mindset, with a customer focused communication skill.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
