We are looking for an Identity & Access Management Engineer to work at EUMETSAT’s premises in Darmstadt, Germany. You will be part of our Network Security team at EUMETSAT.

About the client and location

The key person will provide services in Identity and Access Management as an integrated part of the IAM Phase #2 Project at EUMETSAT. They are currently developing a new IAM Solution and needs security support. The solution is based on Git and GitLab with custom implementation for the workflows and bespoke integrations.

Tasks and activities

The scope of work will include:

  • Security Engineering activities in scope of the development, implementation, documentation and roll-out of an IAM System at EUMETSAT.
  • Integration, testing and troubleshooting of systems with the IAM Solution.
  • End-to-end on-boarding of applications to the IAM solution, including coordination with stakeholders.
  • Bi-weekly execution of User Acceptance Tests (UAT) for delivered IAM Solution components.
  • Regular reporting on progress, blocking points and results.

Skills and experience

The following skills and experience are mandatory:

  • University Degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience in the field of Identity & Access Management.
  • Knowledge and experience with Gitlab, Git, AD, Entra ID, Kerberos, LDAP.
  • Development / DevSecOps / testing background would be useful.
  • Experience with scrum / sprints / sprint-driven activities.
  • Good communication and troubleshooting skills.
  • Self-starter able to work efficiently and effectively within a larger team.
  • Desire to work both autonomously and as part of a team, in an international multicultural environment.
  • Solution oriented mindset, with a customer focused communication skill.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
